The Export Pack adds simulator export to a licence and is optional.

Universities can buy HFG as software only, or as a turnkey HFG simulator system with hardware, installation and set-up included. A turnkey system is quoted separately.

The price is listed above. These are set per licence and stated in writing with the quotation.

  • Licence term and what happens at renewal
  • How users are counted, and whether seats can be reassigned
  • Permitted use — teaching, competition, commercial work
  • Deployment: which machines, and how the software is installed
  • Updates and support during the licence
  • Which capabilities and edition the group includes

Before you ask.

What does the price cover?
One year's licence for the number of users in the group, with the edition shown on its card. Simulator export is not included: it comes with the Export Pack. A turnkey university simulator system is quoted separately.
What is the Export Pack?
An optional add-on that turns the engineering model into a simulator vehicle. It currently supports Assetto Corsa. Its price depends on the licence group and is shown with each licence above.
Which group is a Formula Student team?
The Formula Student Team group: five users with the full engineering environment. It is usually bought by the team, the university or a sponsor.
Which group is a university department?
Educational, for teaching with the Learning Tab. A department doing engineering work rather than teaching may fit Industrial/Enterprise — tell us how it will be used.
Can we evaluate before buying?
Yes. Time-limited evaluation licences are available on request.
What does HFG run on?
HFG is a Windows desktop application. Calculations run locally on your machine.
